COMPUTER MAPPING
ESSENTIALS
Do you have a
requirement to map your property to assist with
legislative requirements (Reef, vegetation or
leasehold) or simply want to improve the
management of your property?
If so, AgForward
currently offers free of charge computer mapping
workshops:
- Introduction to Property
Computer Mapping (101)
- Get Back Into Property
Computer Mapping (102)
The 102 workshop is designed to
provide property owners with an opportunity to refresh or
improve their property computer mappings skills. You are
encouraged to bring your computer to this workshop if you have
commenced to map your property as you have an opportunity to
use the AgForward staff to review your property map.
A total of 72 workshops, 101
and 102, were delivered in 2009 to 623 primary producers across
Queensland through funding from Australian Government's Caring
for our Country open grants program.

AgForward makes available 10 training
computers for the day and uses either the
FarmKeeper or PhoenixFarms-Mapping software
packages to demonstrate this capability.

This workshop
commences at 9am and finishes around 4pm.
The workshop is restricted to 10

Spatial Project
(2009):
AgForce Projects
completed the Spatial Project during 2009 that was funded under
Australian Government's Caring for our Country open grants
program. The purpose of this project was to educate
producers on how to access and utilise spatial information.
Utilising
Spatial Information - a total of 72 workshops (101 and 102)
were delivered to 623 primary producers across Queensland.
